“Thrillingly good. I even finished off the dregs of a bottle that had spent six weeks in my fridge”
— Janice Robinson, Financial Times
Star of Luther and The Wire, Londoner Idris Elba is an actor, an activist, a DJ and now the proud owner of a super-premium wine brand, Porte Noire. The first still wine in the portfolio is the Porte Noire Rosé, which was served at Idris and Sabrina Dhowre Elba’s wedding in Marrakesh.
“I wanted to put together a special collection of wines with stories I think needed to be told. I’ve always understood the importance of story and these two additions to Porte Noire are great conversation starters.”
