It feels in lockdown like all the small celebrations (I mean if you can even call them that..) Valentines Day, Pancake Day, Wine Day, International Margarita day have got bigger. A milestone. Another day to tick off during lockdown and make being at home a little more exciting. (I’m mostly talking about Margarita Monday in that last sentiment). Anyway next up. Mothers Day.
This year will be my second Mothers day, although I’m not sure the first one counted as we were less than 2 weeks in, and in the new parent/newborn fog. However I am more than happy to celebrate this year with something cold & pink. And anyway, what mother doesn’t love wine.
So I thought I would share my Mothers Day Gift Edit.
1.My (Current) Favourite. Romassan from Domaine Ott*£34.99.
PART OF THE DOMAINES OTT* RANGE, AND A TRULY PROVENÇAL WINE. LIGHT PEACH IN COLOUR WITH A DELICATE NOSE FULL OF FLORAL NOTES WHICH EVOLVE TOWARDS CITRUS FRUITS AND VINE PEACHES. ON THE PALATE THE WINE IS SOFT, WELL STRUCTURED AND REFINED WITH FLAVOURS OF GRAPEFRUIT AND WHITE STONE FRUITS. This wine is currently my favourite & what I will be hoping for this mothers day. We first enjoyed this together down in cornwall and every sip takes me back there.
